How to Set the Table

To set a table, you must have clean hands. Be sure to wash them with soap and warm water. If there are any crumbs on the table, wet a dishcloth and wipe off the crumbs. Get some plates and set them at each place. Next get some knives and put them on the right side of the plates with the sharp edge toward the plate. Take some spoons and put one on the right side of the knives. Get some forks and put them on the left side of the plate. Next put a cup or glass above the knife. You can either fold the napkins diagonally to make a triangle and put it under the fork, top point facing the plate. Or you can lay a napkin on top of each plate. If you have company, you could put a vase with flowers, or something else pretty in the middle of the table. And that is how you set a table.
